The international Libra Group is concerned with a wide range of industrial and commercial investments, including transport and energy. As regards Brazil, the Corporation is about to invest heavily in a new container harbour terminal in Rio de Janeiro.

This new facility will be the most up-to-date in the entire country. It’s aimed mainly at handling the needs of the new larger ships crossing the Atlantic after the current expansion of the Panama Canal. Libra will also invest to triple the capacity of the nearby Cabo Frio Airport plus some additional communications infrastructure. Altogether the Group is investing over 700 million Brazilian Reais
