The ‘WIN’ collective is a co-operative group of the leading research organisations in the world. Last year they conducted a series of surveys in 65 countries to discern which countries were internationally seen as the most popular, successful and attractive.
Criteria included economic growth, cultural ‘impressiveness’ and general perceived way of life. Brazil featured in the top dozen of such countries and featured particularly highly in two thirds of participating countries. It’s interesting to note that Brazil was the only Latin American nation to feature in the ‘diamond dozen’ top twelve countries.
Not all participants followed up their enthusiasm for Brazil by saying they’d actually like to move there but some did. For example, six percent of Argentineans would like to emigrate to their popular neighbour.
