According to ANFAVEA (the national association of vehicle producers) a total of 3.74 million units left the assembly lines in this country of 200 million people..
This is an increase of very nearly ten per cent over the previous year. Much of the boost is accounted for by the agricultural sector’s demand for farm vehicles, coupled with a leap in general demand from export
markets.
Luiz Moan, President of ANFAVEA explained that Brazil has developed to the point where today it is the seventh biggest producer of vehicles in the world and is the fourth biggest market. He feels that both those totals can be even further improved in the years ahead
